Raidiam expands global footprint with strategic leadership appointments

Raidiam, a leading expert in data sharing technologies, has expanded its global footprint with the strategic appointments of Lukasz Jaromin to the role of Head of Standards and Product Strategy, and David Oppenheim to the role of Head of Strategic Business Development.

Lukasz brings his deep expertise in identity, Open Banking and the financial technology space. He was one of the co-founders of Cloudentity (acquired by SecureAuth), a modern identity, authorisation, and consent SaaS platform and is highly regarded and respected as a significant voice in global standards, participating in their development via standard-setting bodies. He contributed to FAPI, the gold-standard security profile adopted by leading Open Finance ecosystems. He has worn multiple product-centric hats such as Head of Product Strategy, VP of Product, and Head of Product and Engineering, further enhancing Raidiam’s credentials in developing pioneering products that lead the world in their functionality and capabilities.

In his new role at Raidiam, Lukasz will be responsible for leading the development and integration of cross-industry standards and product strategy that align with the company’s strategic objectives and informed by market needs. He said: “In the era of identity decentralisation and the proliferation of Open Data ecosystems for consumer-permissioned data sharing, trust is more important than ever before. I’m thrilled to join Raidiam, who have pioneered Open Finance developments around the world to help shape their cutting-edge products that are essential for trust establishment in any modern ecosystem based on open standards. ”

David joins Raidiam following a short project-based engagement with the company, bringing his extensive experience in digital financial services technology, lending and payments at a global scale. Prior to this move, he headed up ecosystem partnerships at Paymentology and previously was Head of Payment Partnerships at Thought Machine. He has a background in investment banking and strategy consulting.

In his new role at Raidiam, David will work with a range of consultancies and technology vendors to assemble comprehensive propositions for regulatory, consortium and enterprise clients. He will develop the company’s Partnership Programme to identify and work with vendors whose products are capable of and have achieved the appropriate security accreditations to integrate with the Raidiam Connect Trust Platform. David said: “Raidiam plays a niche and critical role underpinning the world’s most successful Open Data ecosystems, unlocking significant economic and societal value. I’m excited to be joining at this inflection point in the global adoption of Open Banking, real-time A2A payments and digital identity.”

Barry O’Donohoe, Raidiam co-founder and CEO, said: “These latest senior appointments to our team further demonstrate the growth trajectory that the company is on. Our expertise, products and credentials are unmatched by any other provider in the market and with both Lukasz and David joining us, our knowledge and ability to lead the global development of smart data ecosystems is only set to continue. They are both highly respected individuals in their own regard, with Lukasz’s reputation as a leading voice in the global development of standards well known within the industry. I am delighted to have them both join our team.”
