Raidiam is proud to announce that it will participate in the second round of the European Commission’s Large Scale Pilots for the EU Digital Identity Wallet as an Associated Partner of the WE BUILD Consortium.
What is WE BUILD?
WE BUILD, the consortium Wallet Ecosystem for Business and payments Use cases on Identification, Legal representation and Data sharing, has been chosen by the European Commission to contribute to the second round of Large Scale Pilots for the EU Digital Identity Wallet.
Through a use case-driven approach, WE BUILD will pilot 13 business and payment use cases, designed to simplify life for both businesses and individuals. These aim to contribute significantly to the European Commission’s plans related to EUDI Wallets and organisational/business wallets.
Raidiam’s Role in the WE BUILD Consortium
As an Associated Partner, Raidiam will contribute to the Development and Implementation of a Foundational Trust Framework task which focuses on defining policies, protocols, mechanisms, and implementation profiles aligned with current and emerging standards in trust evaluation for secure and reliable digital identity transactions.
This includes establishing trust requirements, compliance protocols, and credential issuance and verification policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting key business use cases.
Raidiam brings extensive experience from Open Banking ecosystems around the world and is committed to helping build a strong trust foundation that will help support the real-world implementation of business and payment-related use cases, including those focused on identification, legal representation and data sharing.

Key Goals of the WE BUILD Project
The WE BUILD Consortium, with nearly 200 public and private sector partners and 13 European business registers, will focus on digital identity and data sharing for business-related use cases. This includes piloting the EUDI Wallets in B2B, B2G, and B2C interactions, with a focus on improving business processes, reducing costs, and enhancing security and trust.
When does the Project begin?
The project is set to start in September 2025, running for 24 months. During this time, WE BUILD will demonstrate how the EUDI Wallet can be used for various business functions, including power of attorney, signatory rights, and Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) attestations.
